Our biggest fundraiser of the year is here. Students gather pledges for every lap they run, and every dollar goes straight to the OLA Scholarship Fund, helping more families say yes to a Christ-centered education.
Families, grandparents and local businesses can sponsor a runner or the whole event. Shamgar will be there to run the last lap with the kindergartners.
This year OLA has a mascot, and he comes straight out of Judges 3:31. Shamgar was a farmer who faced impossible odds with nothing but an ox goad, and God used him to deliver Israel.
Why him? Because we want every student to learn what Shamgar knew: start where you are, use what’s in your hand, and stand firm.
