Getting started
What grades do you serve?
Full-Time serves grades K–8. Homeschool Enrichment serves grades K–12.
Can we visit before applying?
Please do! Tours are by appointment, Monday–Thursday. Book a tour or call (316) 771-6938.
Can my child try a day?
Yes. Shadow days are available in both tracks after your tour.
Do you accept students mid-year?
Yes, when a seat is open. Classes are capped at 15.
Is there a paper application?
Yes. Call or email and we’ll send one.
Faith
Do we have to attend OneChurch?
No. OLA is a ministry of OneChurch, but families come from many churches.
Do parents need to sign the Statement of Faith?
We ask families to read it prayerfully and be comfortable with their children being taught from it. Read it here.
How is faith part of the day?
Daily devotion, Bible class, chapel and a biblical worldview in every subject.
Academics
What does “mastery-based” mean?
Students move to the next skill when they’ve mastered the current one, not just when a unit ends.
How do you handle different ages in one class?
Small groups by skill level, plus plenty of chances for older students to lead and younger ones to stretch.
Do you give grades?
We use portfolios and mastery checks, reviewed with parents at conferences. A standardized assessment each spring shows growth over time.
What if my child needs extra help?
Teachers provide small-group support and can refer families for evaluations or interventions.
Is it accredited?
Ask the office about current accreditation and transcript questions. (To be confirmed by the school.)
Daily life
What are school hours?
Full-Time: Monday–Thursday, 8:15 am – 3:30 pm. Homeschool Enrichment: Monday & Thursday, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.
Is lunch provided?
Hot lunch is available Monday–Thursday, and sack lunches are always welcome. See the menu.
Is there a uniform?
No uniform. We ask for modest, comfortable clothes kids can play and paint in.
What happens on snow days?
We text and email families by 6:30 am and post on social media.
Is there before or after care?
Not yet. Tell us if you need it; we’re gathering interest.
Cost
How much is tuition?
Full-Time is $5,000 plus a $300 curriculum fee. Homeschool Enrichment is $1,400 plus a $200 curriculum fee. Details.
Is financial aid available?
Yes, for Full-Time families, along with payment plans for both tracks and the OLA Scholarship Fund.
Are donations tax-deductible?
Gifts receive a receipt. Please consult your tax advisor. (Details to be confirmed by the school.)
